![]() It was a neat experience, but if you get sea sick be sure to take gravol beforehand. ![]() We visited Capri and did the Blue Grotto. If you’re planning to visit other areas/islands on the coast be sure to take an earlier ferry, as the last ferry back is typically 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Beach chairs cost 10-30 euros/person depending on which area you choose to sit, or you can opt to sit on the stone area at no cost, but be sure to bring a towel to sit/lay on. The beach is a 20 minute walk and gets very crowded by noon. Unfortunately one small downside (if you’re a late nighter) is that there is a 1:30 a.m. Music on the Rocks (a small club) was a lot of fun if you’re a party animal and enjoy local and top 40 music. We especially loved Antonio, as he provided us with lots of information about Positano and the coast. Overall Carlo and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite basic (bed, washroom, and fridge), but that’s all you really need as you’ll likely spend majority of your time exploring. Carlo’s staff took care of our laundry at no additional charge and delivered it to our room, which I found to be very nice. The bus stop (yes there’s a bus!) is also a 2 minute walk from the pensione, and loops around every 10-15 mins. There are great restaurants within 2-5 mins walking distance, as well as a convenient store. The location is great and offers a beautiful view of Positano and the sea from the balconies and terrace. We had a pleasant stay at Pensione Maria-Luisa.
